Working with Ben Roberts
I have been working with Ben for my business for the last eighteen months. The thing that I first loved about working with Ben was he had a variety of ideas and great locations that he knows make great back drops for photos. I have been amazed at how important it is to take the right picture at the right time, especially when you have a website that you want to reflect the seasons the colour of the sky and light is right is fundamental. I have never really thought of this previously however every time he is right even though sometimes this is just frustrating but in a good way! He is also amazing with children, and you can tell that he really enjoys what he does. As you can imagine with any child whatever the age you need to be flexible and that is one thing you have to be with children.
One of the amazing feelings you have when you have photos taken by Ben is that you feel totally relaxed, the people around you feel relaxed and also the pictures are awesome. Like anything working with children is hard and they are not always perfect or will not do what you want them to do. Ben is always amazing at cheering them up, and getting the best out of them in a limited time span. I also found it really helpful that Ben always asks for a detailed brief, I always get more out of the photos having a clear specification, it also works with children as then you can create a game to play in order to get what is needed. My daughter Libby now wants her picture taken every time we see Ben even though sometimes it is not her turn. Ben is excellent at what he does, however one thing I would say is extra special is that Ben always catches the personality of the child and brings out the best features of every single picture he takes. I would never go to anyone else now and am happy to say that Ben will always be my photographer for all the photos on www.kidsonestopshop.co.uk and would always be the only photographer I would recommend for business or pleasure. Photos do not always have to be in a studio and my favourite images have to be those that we have done out and about and at various locations so give it a go you will not regret the results I promise, and now I have been back time and time again I know!
