Wow, where do we even start? From the first video call during lockdown we knew he would be our wedding photographer, fast forward 1 and half years we finally met on the day and it was as if we had all known each other for years. Ben wasn’t just a photographer for us, he was like a friend.. he calmed us both down and made us at ease before the ceremony, running around after us and the other guests, and going above and beyond for everyone, and for that we are so thankful! From the very first day that we met Ben, we knew he would be the photographer for us! He immediately made us feel comfortable and relaxed which was really important to us as neither of us usually enjoy having our photo taken. Throughout our entire wedding day, Ben was just fantastic. Absolutely fantastic photographer. We hired Ben as our wedding photographer and were blown away by the results. On top of the amazing photos we received, Ben was incredibly personable as well. On the day he would make sure my partner and I were always comfortable and managed to take us away from the hustle and bustle every so often to give us some time together and a break from the crowds. Ben even helped with my nerves at the alter, checking on me and giving me advice in order to keep composure as my beautiful bride walked down the aisle.

We received our photos only a few week after the wedding on a lovely engraved wooden USB stick in a matching wooden box, which really added a touch of personality and charm. It's a USB stick full of memories that Ben has made sure you won't accidentally throw out or lose.

Ben photographed our wedding at Manor by the Lake a couple of weeks ago. We found him via his website originally and have been very pleased with the photos we have received. Ben already knew the venue, which really helped and was also politely assertive with some recommendations for our day and with images that would work. His natural, capture the moment style has produced beautiful images for us and our guests to treasure and we know he had a good laugh with lots of people on the day. Ben was so kind to stay a bit later to get a couple of shots we really wanted and was very accommodating when guests asked for unplanned photos. I don't even know how to put into words how amazing Ben and his work is, we were so grateful to have him for our wedding last week and we would highly recommend him above anyone! Even a big portion of our guests commented how lovely he was to be around, which just goes to show how well he fit in with our friends and family on the day. The photos that came back are insane, some of them we didn't even realise he had taken or was even in the room for, he was so inconspicuous! He helpfully guided us for the posed shots we chose, and the rest he took were so natural and unstaged (and he still managed to get fantastic shots of us two usually very unphotogentic people). There isn't a single photo he has taken we don't like, which was what we thought basically impossible for us! And to top it all off he got our photos all back to us within a week which is crazy!

From the first meeting he was friendly and professional, he was quick to respond to emails and happy to answer any questions. Ben was the perfect photographer for so many reasons – he knew our venue like the back of his hand (Tewkesbury Park Hotel) and we liked him instantly. The communication beforehand was excellent, so he was very well-acquainted with the structure of our day, and what we wanted from the photos. That said, Ben also knew exactly how to go with the flow, prioritising our day and anticipating our needs over the “schedule” where he could – he helped us to take in the big moments and enjoy ourselves. He was warm and funny, but also knew exactly when to take charge to make sure we got what we wanted out of the photos, and that is something we deeply appreciated.

Once he left, we felt like one of our guests had left! Not only that, but we received a gorgeous memory stick in the post with all our stunning photos within a week of our wedding, before we went away for our honeymoon – so much quicker than we expected, and we all absolutely LOVED them. Ben really has a knack for capturing the best moments, we loved all the candid photos – would 100% recommend him.

We met Ben at a wedding Fayre and loved his energy and passion straight away. His relaxed, personal approach was just what we were looking for so without hesitation we booked him for our big day. Ben kept in touch with us and met up with us prior to the wedding to make sure everything went to plan. He listened intently to what we wanted and understood the family dynamics. On the day Ben was fab! He managed the busy bridal party on the morning of the wedding so well and was the best support to me when I had a melt down as we were running late! There was a range of different pictures which all captured the day perfectly! Lots of happy, smiley people. I have and would recommend Ben to people over and over again. The most perfect pictures that we will cherish as a family forever.

So I just wanted to drop you an email to really say how truly grateful we are to you for being our photographer and the service that you provided! You were professional throughout and always made us feel at ease as we could have a laugh and banter with you, which always helps!! You did such a fantastic job with everybody on the day and with the photos. You captured so many beautiful, natural shots which we love. Sarah & Scott - Hyde House

We chose Ben after seeing one of his albums at Hyde Barn. We were not disappointed. Ben is really approachable and really listened to what sort of photos we wanted on the big day. Ben was amazing on the day as he really puts you at ease. He wasn't obstructive or intrusive. A lot of the time you didn't know he was there! We had a bit of a challenge with the weather but this did not stop him from getting fabulous shots. We LOVE the photos. Thank you so much xxxx
