USA Stylised Wedding Photoshoot

Whilst working out in the States last month I hooked up with a fabulous wedding planner, Melissa from G&A Weddings who created not one but two stylised shoots for me in Serenbe Farms near Atlanta Georgia.

I absolutely love to do Stylised shoots, without the time pressures of they allow me almost to take a step back and then jump forward with my creativity.

We first created a 1st look. Not hugely popular in the UK, out in the States, they are a must. What it does is wipe away the pre wedding nerves and allows the couple to relax together before they walk down the isle together.

I tried to photograph the Stylised shoot in the way as I photograph weddings. To make it look and feel natural, so the day tells a story. If a photograph is forced, I believe it looks unnatural, which instantly breaks up or in fact ruins a story. As a photographer, the moment you intervene, peoples expressions change which, instantly shatters that important memory you are trying to capture naturally.
