An Eastington Park Summer Wedding – A Photographer’s Perspective
Caitlin & Jon came to me after I’d photographed their friends’ wedding — which is honestly one of the biggest compliments I can receive. Most of my work comes through word of mouth, and it says far more than any advert ever could.
They were drawn not just to the candid, documentary style of my wedding photography, but to how I work on the day itself. My aim is always to fit in with your friends and family, not stand apart from them. After photographing hundreds of weddings over the years, I’ve learned when it’s important to quietly step back — and when it helps to gently steer things for a moment to make space for a particular shot.
Caitlin & Jon’s Eastington Park wedding had a relaxed, summery feel from start to finish. Guests drifted between the house and the gardens, laughter carried across the lawn, and nothing ever felt forced or staged. My role was simply to be there, camera in hand, blending in and letting moments happen naturally.
That approach is what allows me to capture the in‑between moments that matter most — a hug with a nan, a shared look with a best friend, a quiet pause away from the crowd — all without anyone really noticing the camera.

Wow what a day! Thanks Caitlin & Jon for letting me capture your special day at Eastington Park. 🥂
