It’s elegant without being showy, grand without ever feeling formal, and above all, it feels like a home. A real one. Liam & Deanna’s summer wedding at Homme House was exactly that. Warm, relaxed and full of genuine moments — the kind of day that suits candid, documentary wedding photography perfectly.

A Summer Wedding at Homme House

I’d been genuinely excited to photograph Liam & Deanna’s wedding. Homme House is an exclusive Herefordshire wedding venue I’d heard nothing but good things about — from other suppliers, quiet industry chat and couples who’d fallen in love with it the moment they arrived.

What makes Homme House special is how effortlessly it balances timeless charm with lived-in warmth. It doesn’t feel like a venue trying to impress. It feels like a beautiful family home opening its doors for a celebration.

And that completely shaped the wedding day.

Rather than feeling like a performance, Liam & Deanna’s wedding felt like friends and family coming together for something meaningful. Guests drifted between rooms and out into the gardens. Conversations overlapped. Laughter travelled. Champagne glasses were never far away. The house itself never needed dressing up — it simply was the backdrop.
