Just a stone’s throw from Bristol, Old Down Barn was the perfect backdrop for Abi & Ethan’s summer celebration. The Barn itself is in the heart of Old Down Estate and with it the Barn’s exposed brick, wooden beams shows off a charming style. In addition, the adjacent Victorian Walled Garden, with its abundant summer flowers and fruit tree’s set the scene for a day full of picturesque wedding photos!
The ceremony took place in the garden, ensuring a total relaxed feel. That was until we had a small blessing of a warm summer rain shower! Undeterred Abi & Ethan and their guests celebrated under a large pergola with drinks and canapés.
The rain didn’t last long, and guests spilled out onto the lawn for drinks and lawn games, making the most of the long summer afternoon. The atmosphere was easy-going and fun—exactly the way Abi & Ethan had hoped their wedding would feel.
