The Bay Tree Hotel, Burford – Sophie & Alec

25/11/2021
The Bay Tree Hotel, Burford
An enchanting Cotswold retreat in the picturesque town of Burford, few could resist the rustic charm of this 16th century residence, perfect for a small intimate wedding.

Like a lot of couples in 2020, Sophie and Alec had to reluctantly postpone their wedding, not once but sadly twice. Undeterred, they never gave in, because ultimately they wanted to celebrate their special day with their closest family and friends. As life never stands still, nor did some of the final details, (be it a new baby for instance with Sophie and Alec’s case!). All this time away from their family and friends meant that they wanted to celebrate EVEN MORE!

I couldn’t wait to photograph their special day either, as I was always gutted for them when their day got postponed time and time again. But sometimes things are worth waiting for…

I arrived at The Baytree Hotel, Burford to meet Alec and Sophie (getting ready in a room together! – how cute is that?!)…

Thanks Sophie & Alec for letting me photograph your special day.

Old Down Barn – Abi & Ethans Summer Wedding

Manor By The Lake – Indian Wedding – Anchika & Gary

So as I've already mentioned, over the years I've photographed many weddings at Manor By The Lake. It is however such a special place that it almost feels like your first as there are literally so many places to have decent photographs that I'm still on a photo...
