As with most wedding couples who were due to get married in 2020, Alex and Tom had to sadly rearrange their wedding several times. Their determination to get married with as many of their nearest and dearest present shone through all the pandemic restrictions, and as soon as the barriers ceased, their wedding was of course back on. During this time I also got to know Alex and Tom, which is always a pleasure in my book. It generally means that on the day I I tend to slip right in and act almost as a guest.
As luck would have it, as soon as I arrived, I immediately felt welcomed by Alex and Tom’s family and friends. Just the way I like it! This way I can then photograph the goings on in an unobtrusive way, so that, once the wedding day is over, Alex and Tom can look back at their photographs and relive the day, as if it was happening all over again.
Tom and Alex’s wedding took place at the gorgeous Manor House Hotel, Castle Coombe (just outside Bath).
