Ellie & Jordan’s Wedding at The Mill Barns, Bridgnorth

Ellie and Jordan’s early June wedding at The Mill Barns in Alveley, near Bridgnorth, was a brilliant mix of style, fun and plenty of natural moments with family and friends.

As a Gloucestershire wedding photographer based in Cheltenham, I’m more than happy to travel to nearby Shropshire to photograph weddings like Ellie and Jordan’s. It’s always great to discover new venues, and The Mill Barns is a fantastic setting for couples looking for a stylish wedding with a relaxed atmosphere.

Ellie and Jordan knew what they wanted from their wedding photography. They didn’t want to spend ages away from their guests having photos taken — they wanted to enjoy the day, have a laugh and spend time with the people who mattered most. And that suits my approach perfectly!

My style is all about natural, candid wedding photography, capturing the day as it unfolds. I wander around, keeping an eye out for those little moments you might not even notice — the hugs, the laughter, the happy tears and the interactions between family and friends.

Of course, we’ll make time for a few relaxed couple portraits, but there’s no need to disappear for ages. After 19 years of photographing weddings, I know that some of the best images happen when you’re simply enjoying yourself, rather than being told where to stand and what to do.
