Backwell House Weddings – Scot & Amy

Backwell House is subtly tucked away outside Bristol, a venue just perfect for small weddings. I'd personally never heard about it before Scot and Amy got in touch with me to photograph their wedding. However don't you find all little gems are like this? Life is like a box of chocolates after all!

Built in the Georgian period, Backwell House is a beautifully restored manor house that provides the perfect backdrop to any occasion, but particularly fitting to a small intimate wedding.

Scott & Amy were certainly taken back by Backwell House’s cute rooms and gorgeous gardens. These intimate areas make perfect for a small wedding and for me, great to photograph.

Scot & Amy, initially met me at a friends wedding that I photographed. They were impressed with my natural, unobtrusive approach to weddings. I always aim to photograph your wedding in a natural candid way, rather than take over. That way I capture all those important moments between you and your family, without getting in the way.

On the morning of their wedding I first met up with Scott, who was about to open a present given by Amy. How cute is that…?
